Living In A Winter Wonderland

It literally snowed all day yesterday up here in the mountains. From the time I woke up in the morning to the time I went to bed - it was snowing. It looks like we have about 6 inches of snow on the ground right now but I'm no meteoroligical expert.

Here is the view from our living room window.

Crazy, huh?

The best thing about living in the mountains (our town is in the foothills of the Berkshires) is that the people up here know how to handle the snow. The roads are plowed and everyone goes about there business as if nothing is covering the ground.
This much snow in Manhattan and everything would have come to a stop. Or at least, the Subway would probably shut down.

  2. YOU ARE KILLING ME.
I want to be inside my own house in upstate NY while it's snowing all day long. You are so fortunate.

  3. We are living opposite lives-it had to be in the 80's here this weekend. I was boiling at the Rose Bowl flea market. You've got to go when you come for a visit. They even have a 'Make your own Bloody Mary' bar. Hello!
