If you live or work in Manhattan you've probably already smelled the terrible gas odor wafting through the city. For those that aren't here in NYC, I can tell you that the city stinks or as my nephew would say "Pee. U."
I first encountered the smell when I got off my train at Bryant Park (42nd st.) The odor was even worse on the streets and when I arrived at the office, everyone was talking about it. The office gossip has informed us that there may have been a gas explosion downtown but there has not been any official statement yet.
